1. Innovative design of ultra-narrow edge ultra-high-definition glass curtain wall
As a new building material, the glass curtain wall is widely used in office buildings and other buildings. High-rise buildings can create a bright, transparent, and comfortable office environment by installing glass curtain walls. At the same time, the overall structure of glass curtain walls is lighter and has superior structural performance. Therefore, the extreme transparency and large field of vision effect of the all-glass curtain wall have inspired architects to pursue the ultimate glass curtain wall effect and created a high-quality look and feel. How to reasonably apply super-large glass curtain walls in high-rise glass curtain wall buildings of office buildings or glass curtain wall buildings of large-scale direct sales stores has become a key factor in determining the quality and aesthetics of glass curtain wall buildings. The ultra-narrow-edge ultra-high-definition glass curtain wall is a frame-supported curtain wall component type that installs columns, beams, and panels in sequence on site. It is the ultimate pursuit of a large field of vision for component glass curtain walls.
1.1 Transparent and large field of view
The cross-sectional width of the common aluminum column of the component-type glass curtain wall is generally 65~75mm wide, considering that the large span is at least 80~100mm wide. For example, for a glass curtain wall of 8000mm * 10000mm, the area ratio of glass to curtain wall is generally 94.64%~93.81%, and the large span is 93.40%~91.75%.

1.2 The super large screens (super large grid)
To achieve the super-large screen effect of the glass curtain wall, it is necessary to design a super-large grid on the glass plate (Figure 3). The width of the traditional component glass panel is between 1500~1600mm and the height of the panel is 5000~8000mm; it can be adjusted to a width of 1600~2000mm and a height of 8000~100000mm, or a width of 2500~4000mm and a height of 1500~2000mm. With wide or tall viewing angles, immerse yourself in a transparent and large field of vision and feel the shock.

1.3 The designs
It is not easy to reduce the section width of the aluminum column from 65~75mm to 50~55mm, both in terms of structure and structural design.In most cases where energy saving is not considered in exposed-frame glass curtain walls, the cross-sectional width of the aluminum column is reduced to 50-55mm, and the screw hole structure at the front end of the aluminum column needs to be canceled and replaced by a special bolt and screw connection. In consideration of energy saving for the exposed frame glass curtain wall, reducing the section width of the aluminum column to 50~55mm requires reducing the structural width of the bolt or screw hole at the front end of the aluminum column (Figure 4), and specially designed the width of the heat insulation strip, the size of the bolt or screw, and the size of the notch wait.

Considering the energy saving of the hidden frame glass curtain wall, reducing the section width of the aluminum column to 50~55mm requires optimal optimization of the size of the structural adhesive and the glass sub-frame to meet the narrow side requirements.
1.4 Choice of glass
One of the best choices for ultra-high-definition glass is ultra-clear high-transparency glass. The 91% visible light transmittance of ultra-clear glass can meet the requirements of boutique windows. If the insulating glass must be used in consideration of energy saving, ultra-clear glass coated with high-transparency Low-E film insulating glass can be used, especially the Jumbo Size insulating glass produced by the large-format insulating glass production line, which will be more popular. If you pursue the ultimate impurity, surface quality, better quality in terms of optical deformation, and better overall flatness, the curvature of flat glass (0.2%) is lower than tempered glass (0.3%), and the flatness is naturally better than tempered glass; pure flat the bending degree standard of tempered glass is lower than the national standard, and the flatness is better; the thickness of the glass is appropriately increased to increase the rigidity of the glass, thereby improving the flatness. The main measures of ultra-flat glass can be selected in a combination of two or more, according to the requirements of ultra-flat glass.

2. The ultra-narrow edge ultra-high-definition glass curtain wall application
The ultra-narrow-edge ultra-high-definition glass curtain wall is suitable for a certain part of a large public building that requires a very high vision and permeability of the glass curtain wall due to the relatively slender cross-sectional width of the column. For example the lobby of hotels and office buildings, the windows on the first and second floors of shopping centers, the facades of airport terminals, convention and exhibition centers, etc. (Figure 6).
