On February 18, 2023, the financial authorities in Taiwan, and China announced to make the final anti-dumping ruling on imports of float glass (float glass, in sheets) with a thickness greater than 1.1 mm and less than or equal to 19 mm from Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand.
It was ruled that the dumping margin of the products involved in the case in Malaysia is 20.89%-129.32%, that in Indonesia is 10.32%-87.76%, and that in Thailand is 0-32.45%. The tax numbers of the products are 70052990107 and 70052100006.
On May 6, 2022, the financial authorities in Taiwan, China announced to launch of an anti-dumping investigation on float glass imported from Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand at the request of the industry association in Taiwan, China. On November 9, 2022, the financial authorities in Taiwan, China made a preliminary ruling on the case and initially ruled that temporary anti-dumping duties will not be levied for the time being, and the anti-dumping investigation will continue.
