India terminates anti-dumping measures against China's tempered glass.

On August 18, 2022, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India issued an announcement stating that it received the Office Memorandum issued by the Ministry of Finance on August 17, 2022, and the Ministry of Finance did not accept its originating in or importing from China on May 13, 2022. The first anti-dumping sunset review final recommendation made by the Coated and Uncoated Textured Tempered Glass (Textured Tempered Glass whether Coated or Uncoated) decided to terminate the anti-dumping measures against the Chinese products involved and no longer levy anti-dumping duties. The Indian customs code of the product involved is 70071900.

On June 23, 2016, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India conducted an anti-dumping investigation on coated and uncoated textured tempered glass originating in China. On August 18, 2017, the Revenue Department of the Ministry of Finance of India issued Circular No. 38/2017-Customs (ADD), deciding to impose anti-dumping duties of US$52.85/metric ton to US$136.21/metric ton on the products involved in China, valid until August 2022 17th. On June 7, 2021, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India announced that in response to the application submitted by the Indian company Borosil Renewables Limited, the first anti-dumping sunset review was initiated on coated and uncoated textured tempered glass originating in or imported from China. investigation. On May 13, 2022, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of India made the first affirmative final ruling on the anti-dumping sunset review on coated and uncoated textured tempered glass originating in or imported from China, suggesting that China's products involved in the case should continue to be levied for some time. After 2 years of anti-dumping duties, the tax amount is 192.82 US dollars / metric ton to 302.65 US dollars / metric ton.
